Focus Group

From watching the answers from the focus group, i found that the people being interviewed found the song depressing, and that it was quite normal for the genre, and the song was described as weird and unusual.

When asked for ideas about the video, there was a mixed response. One said it would be quite dark and inside where as the other said that it should be more upbeat and bright maybe outside.

when asked about what the band may look like, they said it would mainly consist of white males, as it is typical of the genre as you wouldn't find it the norm to see an asian person in an indie band, but you would question it either, but in conclusion it would be better to follow the norms is what was said.

For costumes, they said that it should be casual as indie artists are not as likely to go wearing designer clothing as a hip hop or R&B artist would.

Costume: Suit with tie/bow tie to meet idea of 'puppet'
Make up around eyes and mouth to add definition to face, also to link in to 'puppet' idea

Female


Long hair, preferably black
Costume: Dress
Make up: will be applied in the video.
